ABC gives full-season pickups to The Kids Are Alright and Splitting up Together

The 1972-set family comedy The Kids Are Alright is the fourth freshman ABC series to receive a full-season pickup. While ABC didn't specify the episode number, it should have a full 22-episode season. The Jenna Fischer-led Splitting Up Together, which was originally renewed last May for 13 episodes, is expected to add five more episodes for a sophomore total of 18 episodes.
