CBS renews Young Sheldon for Seasons 3 and 4

The two-season renewal will ensure that The Big Bang Theory spinoff will run through the 2020-21 season. The news comes two weeks after CBS gave Mom, another Chuck Lorre sitcom, a two-season renewal. Young Sheldon has been averaging 11 million weekly viewers in Season 2, behind Big Bang and NCIS on CBS. CBS Entertainment president Kelly Kahl said Young Sheldon is "a powerful performer for the network with an audience that towers over most of the television landscape."
