CW boss explains why the new Sabrina series ended up on Netflix

The untitled adaptation based on The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina was supposed to serve as a companion to Riverdale, penned by Riverdale boss Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. But CW president Mark Pedowitz says: “There was opportunity that Warners had that Netflix made them a two-season offer. We understood that, and I wish Roberto and everybody really well as far as that goes. We have great development in Charmed and a number of other shows, so we’ll muddle through it.”
