Conan O'Brien is visiting Greenland in response to President Trump's interest in purchasing the country

On Friday, Conan reacted to a Wall Street Journal report that Trump was interested in buying Greenland -- which Trump has since confirmed -- by tweeting: "I may have to go to Greenland now and kick the tires on this deal. #ConanGreenland." On his show Monday, Conan officially announced he is going to Greenland as part of his "Conan Without Borders" series with the intention of negotiating the deal on behalf of the United States. This isn't the first time Trump has inspired a "Conan Without Borders" visit. Last year, Conan visited Haiti in response to the president's reported "sh*thole" remark.
