Ed O'Neill to play Donald Sterling in FX's The Sterling Affairs limited series

In his first TV role since Modern Family, O’Neill is joining previously announced stars Laurence Fishburne and Jacki Weaver on the limited series about the downfall of former Los Angeles Clippers owner Sterling, whose racist behavior was brought to light amid the power struggle between his wife of 60+ years, Shelly Sterling (Weaver), and his mistress, V. Stiviano.
