Gayle King accepts Snoop Dogg's apology, ending feud over Kobe Bryant interview

"I accept the apology and understand the raw emotions caused by this tragic loss," King said in a statement issued by CBS News on Thursday night. Her statement comes one day after Snoop publicly apologized for appearing to threaten the CBS This Morning anchor for bringing up Bryant's 2003 sexual assault case. “As a journalist, it is sometimes challenging to balance doing my job with the emotions and feelings during difficult times,” King added. “I don’t always get it perfect but I’m constantly striving to do it with compassion and integrity.”
