George Lopez will lead his first drama series with Amazon's Once Upon a Time in Aztlan

The comedian will star in and serve as executive producer on the potential series in development at Amazon, "described as reaching into the deep suburbs of Los Angeles to characterize a Chicano family coming to terms with the falsehoods of the American dream, and their ability to defy expectations," per Variety. The one-hour drama was created by Javier Rodriguez.
