Hasan Minhaj passes on Jon Stewart's advice to Lilly Singh -- which was no advice at all

The Patriot Act host released a video of his conversation with A Little Late's Singh, who makes her debut on NBC's late-night lineup on Sept. 16. Minhaj tells Singh the best advice he ever received was from his former Daily Show boss Stewart. “He would give me no notes. None! He would just be like ‘That’s great,'" says Minhaj. "He would basically just ask me questions, like ‘What are you interested in?’ or ‘Why does that bug you?’ But he would never give me specific advice."
