Hulu's Saint X shuts down production after crew members walk off set over an overtime payment dispute

Filming on the psychological drama in the Dominican Republic after American crew members walked off on Friday, alleging they weren't being properly paid for overtime. A spokesperson for Disney TV Studios confirmed that a number of employees were let go after “walking off the job, forcing filming to stop.” The spokesperson said they will be replaced with other U.S. union members. According to Deadline, they were being paid for 1.5 their rate for overtime after the 12-hour mark until the 14-hour mark, which the crew members allege violated their contracts.
