Rick and Morty's Dan Harmon to create an animated series for Fox

Community creator Harmon, who co-created Rick and Morty with Justin Roiland for Adult Swim, has signed a direct talent deal to create an animated comedy series for Fox that is targeted to premiere in spring 2022. “Before joining the network ranks, I was an independent producer who had the opportunity to work with Dan on one of my very first projects," says Fox Entertainment president Michael Thorn. "His singular voice, tenor and conviction to always deliver the unexpected in the stories he tells, let me know right away that he was a special talent."
