The renowned scientist's personal Simpsons figurine sold for more than three times its expected price at auction despite missing a number of small removable parts, including Hawking’s glasses, a beer mug, and the mechanical boxing glove, which he used to punch Homer Simpson after he tried to stick him with a bar tab.
