RuPaul's Drag Race Queens Tell Viewers to Proudly 'Say Gay' in New PSA

The PSA comes in response to Florida's "Don't Say Gay" bill.
  • In response to Florida's "Don't Say Gay" bill and other anti-LGBTQ legislation, ViacomCBS and The Trevor Project have teamed up for a new "Say Gay" PSA, featuring fan-favorite queens from RuPaul's Drag Race.

The new PSA features BenDeLaCreme (Season 6, All Stars 3), Gigi Goode (Season 12), Nicky Doll (Season 12, Drag Race France), and Kerri Colby (Season 14). A release about the PSA states, "Hear from the queens themselves during Pride Month 2022 as they speak to their various unique experiences of being part of the LGBTQ community."

"If I had ever imagined the kind of life I get to live now, as a kid, I would not have believed it," says BenDeLaCreme.

"I'm a proud trans woman – a Black trans woman, at that," adds Colby. "And I want you to know that it's okay to be you and serve a whole lot of face, a lot of grace, a lot of body, and we deserve to be in this place."

New episodes of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 7 drop every Friday on Paramount+.
