Ever since Grey's Anatomy fan favorites April Kepner (Sarah Drew) and Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) got back together at the end of Season 18, viewers have been wondering what's in store for the couple, affectionately coined "Japril."

In a new interview with E!'s Daily Pop, Drew said that she knows fans are clamoring for more.

"I get tweets from people every day about a darker, grittier, sexier Japril spin-off," the actress told hosts Loni Love and Jai Rodriguez. "I'm down, I'm in for it."

Before Japril fans get too excited, Drew asserted that just because she's interested doesn't mean it's going to happen, saying, "It's not up to me. You gotta go to the powers that be, man."

As far as where things will go for April and Jackson in Season 19 and whether or not she'll be returning for more guest appearances, Drew said, "I don't know what's happening in the story, but I, of course, would always love to go back. I love my family there."

Grey's Anatomy Season 19 premieres on ABC October 6.
