Wendy Williams is returning to the limelight with a new podcast, "The Wendy Experience."

On Tuesday, Williams posted a short promo for the podcast on Instagram, saying, "Co-hosts, I'm famous, and I'll be back. Trust me!"

Williams' new venture comes one year after she took a leave of absence from her daytime TV show, The Wendy Williams Show. The show initially pushed its Fall 2021 premiere after Williams fell ill with a breakthrough COVID case, and later went on hiatus as she battled "ongoing medical issues," including complications from Graves disease.

With Williams sidelined, the daytime show relied on various guest hosts, including Sherri Shepherd — who will fill the timeslot in the fall with her own program.

Williams notably did not appear on the final episode of her talk show, which aired in May. Williams said she was not asked by production to appear in the finale, though she did watch it from home. "There was nothing I liked about the [the final episode of] Wendy Williams Show," she told the New York Post at the time.
