So, yes, the whole "Five-Timers Club" thing is the real milestone to reach for Saturday Night Live hosts, but given that the stretch run this season has featured four-time hosts Emma Stone and now Paul Rudd, can't we make an exception and celebrate them, too?

Rudd hasn't hosted since December of 2013, and to give you a sense of how long ago that was culturally, One Direction was the musical guest. That whole era is now just a memory in Harry Styles's rearview mirror. This time, Rudd gets the prestigious season-finale hosting gig, which in recent years has largely gone to former cast members (Fred Armisen, Andy Samberg, Tina Fey) or very popular recurring hosts like Dwayne Johnson and, uh, Louis C.K. Anyway, the point is: sucks to be you, Tim Robinson, maybe next year. For now, we've got Rudd. Hopefully the opening monologue is a Q&A where the likes of Melissa Villaseñor and Mikey Day demand that Rudd untangle the time-travel elements of Avengers: Endgame.

SEASON FINALE: Paul Rudd hosts the Saturday Night Live season-ender with musical guest DJ Khaled. All eyes will be on Kate McKinnon, to see if there's any indication whether this will be her last episode as a cast member. Meanwhile, it's been reported that Kenan Thompson is going to stay with the show despite his sitcom The Kenan Show getting picked up for a post-fall slot on NBC's 2019-2020 primetime schedule. 11:30 PM ET on NBC

NEW SEASON: The 14th season premiere of Cake Boss promises "fiery dragons and marrying cats." Just hopefully not in the same room. The series, about a family-operated cake shop in Hoboken, New Jersey, first premiered in 2009. 9:00 PM ET on Discovery Family Channel

WORLD PREMIERE: The Lifetime original "telefilm" (oooh fancy!) Psycho Granny has everything you could ever want from a Lifetime movie: a delightful/insane premise (Samantha's mother dies, but then her long-lost creepy grandma Colleen emerges to help her cope with her grief but then it goes bad), and a cast full of soap opera stars (All My Children alums Jacob Young AND Brooke Newton) and familiar faces (Matthew Lawrence of Boy Meets World), culminating in Robin Riker — who played an obsessive cheerleader-mom/witch on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, as the titular psycho granny. 8:00 PM ET on Lifetime
