Hoping to appeal to Stranger Things fans who've already plowed through the show's third season, Netflix is dropping a truly strange (and potentially brilliant) mockumentary starring none other than David Harbour (the Emmy-nominated actor behind ST's Jim Hopper). That and more in our TV picks for today, Tuesday July 16th:

SPECIAL PRESENTATION: The levels of metatextual farce at play in Netflix's Frankenstein's Monster's Monster, Frankenstein are truly impressive. David Harbour plays David Harbour, presenting an investigative documentary into his own (fictional) father, David Harbour, Jr. (also played by David Harbour). The trailer promises allusions to everything from Dark Shadows, to Orson Welles' The Other Side of the Wind (also on Netflix), and features the hilarious Kate Berlant in a supporting role. Streaming on Netflix

DOCUMENTARY PREMIERE: HBO continues its strong summer of documentary offerings with Behind Closed Doors, a look into the 2008 murder of a young girl in India. The case, which churned up issues of wealth, class, and media notoriety, became a national sensation, drawing comparisons to the JonBenet Ramsey murder. 8:00 PM ET on HBO

SERIES PREMIERE: The CW's summer sci-fi series Pandora focuses on a young woman in 2199 named Jax who loses both of her parents and decides to become a fighter pilot. She and her friends learn to defend the Galaxy from threats, both alien and human, but Jax's own secrets lead to a mystery that could define her as either humanity's savior or destructor. 8:00 PM ET on The CW

SEASON PREMIERE: The third season of MTV's British import dating show Ex on the Beach arrives in the middle of a summer where Love Island is taking up all the British import dating show attention. This season's cast of celeb-reality stars includes Aubrey O'Day (Making the Band), Big Brother 19's Mark and Elena, and The Challenge's Marie and Devin. 8:00 PM ET on MTV

    ALSO TONIGHT

    • The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills kicks off its Vanderpump-less reunion, so expect a good amount of Lisa-bashing in her absence. 9:00 PM ET on Bravo
    • JFK Jr.: The Final Year airs on the twentieth anniversary of the plane crash that would take the lives of John F. Kennedy Jr. and his wfe Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. 9:00 PM ET on A&E
    • Pose returns with a new episode in which Jamal and Ricky get competitive over an audition to dance in Madonna's fateful Blonde Ambition Tour. 10:00 PM ET on FX
