The original Beverly Hills, 90210 aired its last new episode on May 17, 2000. George W. Bush had just begun his first term as president. Barack Obama was a state senator from the 13th district of Illinois. Gladiator was enjoying its second week atop the box-office charts. Survivor was exactly two weeks away from premiering on CBS (and turning the entire industry on its head). And on FOX, Donna Martin (Tori Spelling) walked down the aisle to wed David Silver (Brian Austin Green), the last remaining super-couple from the golden age of 90210.

SEASON PREMIERE: Whatever BH90210 has in store for fans of the generation-defining teen soap, one thing is certain, it won't be the same without Luke Perry's Dylan McKay in the mix. Perry's death in March casts an unavoidable pall over the quirky spirit of the reboot, which will follow not the original characters, but heightened, fictionalized versions of the actors who played them. Considering what tabloid fodder the cast was back then (especially during Shannen Doherty's tenure), this could be very rich territory to mine. But why no Val? 9:00 PM ET on FOX

SERIES PREMIERE: British buddy cops are the order of the day in The CW's Bulletproof, which premieres tonight. The show follows two undercover cops, Bishop (Noel Clarke) and Pike (Ashley Walters), as they chase down crooks in London's East End. Our Aaron Barnhart has more in his review8:00 PM ET on The CW

SEASON FINALE: How can it be that we've already sprinted to the end of Love Island's first season? While the British import didn't capture America's imagination quite the way it has across the pond, it did give its viewers a new appreciation for the word "like"; that alone makes us happy CBS has given it a second season renewal8:00 PM ET on CBS

SEASON FINALE: Tonight also marks the end of sophomore year for the college kids on Grown-ish. The black-ish spinoff has followed daughter Zoey (Yara Shahidi) through some real coming-of-age moments, and it's done so with sensitivity, responsibility, and humor. In this week's finale, bottled up emotions fizz over, effecting relationships and bringing about some interesting reconciliations. 8:00 PM ET on Freeform
