Hulu Enters the Fray with Baker's Dozen, CBS Bows New Comedy Ghosts

    Just one day after Netflix launched Baking Impossible, Hulu is throwing its hat in the ring today with Baker’s Dozen, a new reality competition that pits home bakers against professionals. Also today: CBS goes single cam with its new comedy Ghosts, Monica Lewinsky probes the “public shaming epidemic” in 15 Minutes of Shame, and United States of Al tackles the U.S. military’s withdrawal from Afghanistan in its season premiere. Here’s what’s new and noteworthy on TV this Thursday:

    Baker’s Dozen: Complete first season. 13 amateur bakers and seasoned professionals work to create the next viral baking sensation in Hulu’s new competition series. With hosts Tamera Mowry-Housley (The Real) and former White House pastry chef Bill Yosses. Watch trailer. Streaming on Hulu

    Ghosts: Series premiere. After they decide to convert a rundown country estate into a bed & breakfast, Samantha (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) discover it’s inhabited by the many spirits of deceased residents, an eclectic group made up of a Prohibition-era singer, a 1700s militiaman, and a Viking explorer.     15 Minutes of Shame: Original documentary. Executive producers Monica Lewinsky and Max Joseph (Catfish) take an in-depth look at on public shaming and our collective need to destroy one another in this feature documentary. Watch trailer. Streaming on HBO Max

    United States of Al: Season premiere. Al (Adhir Kalyan), Riley (Parker Young), and their friends work together to get Al’s sister out of Afghanistan and to safety after Kabul falls. The emotional episode was written and shot following the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan, and was inspired by the show's Afghan and military veteran writers own efforts to evacuate family and friends.     One of Us Is Lying: Series premiere. Based on a bestselling YA novel, Peacock’s new teen drama tracks what happens when five high school students walk into detention, and only four make it out alive. Three episodes drop today, with subsequent episodes dropping over the next two weeks. Read our review. Streaming on Peacock

    Sexy Beasts: Complete second season. A new group of singles don elaborate makeup and prosthetics and put blind-date chemistry to the test as the social experiment returns to Netflix for its second season. Watch trailer. Streaming on Netflix

    Young Sheldon: Season premiere. Sheldon (Iain Armitage) and Missy (Raegan Revord) both run away from home, and Mary (Zoe Perry) gets upsetting news about George Sr. (Lance Barber) in the Season 5 premiere. Watch preview. 8:00 PM ET on CBS

    Thursday Night Football: The Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks fight for control of the NFC West in an exciting TNF matchup. 8:20 PM ET/5:20 PM PT on FOX

    The Outpost: Series finale. Talon (Jessica Green) and her friends battle against the gods. Meanwhile, Janzo (Anand Desai-Barochia), Wren (Izuka Hoyle), and Munt (Adam Johnson) fight to save the Kahvi, and a ruler is crowned. 9:00 PM ET on The CW

    Bull: Season premiere. Bull (Michael Weatherly) and the TAC team leap into action when Bull’s daughter is kidnapped, and the abductor warns them not to go to the police. Watch preview. 10:00 PM ET on CBS
